As a Blood Program Leader and Youth Executive Board Member with the American Red Cross National Capital & Greater Chesapeake Region, organized 10+ blood drives collecting 320+ units of blood. Supported 3,200 youth across 104 clubs and collaborated with Biomedical Services on donor recruitment, screening, and transfusion logistics, deepening understanding of nonprofit medicine.
Served as a Junior Leadership Committee Member for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Maryland Chapter. Volunteered since 6th grade, leading a team that raised $65K and advising three additional teams that raised $150K+. Organized statewide campaigns advancing cancer awareness, research, and patient support.
As a Public Health Youth Fellow and Junior Advisory Board Member for the St. Mary’s County Health Department, led youth initiatives, researched GLP-1 agonists for obesity treatment, and assisted with blood testing and lab work. Collaborated with county officials to promote youth education and equitable healthcare policy.
